More Information
At the time of this print’s production, maritime dramas were all the rage in Paris, inspiring a new fashion trend in naval attire. Mrs. Prudhomme is delighted to see her husband and son at the cutting edge of fashion. As usual, Mr. Prudhomme seems quite pleased with himself and not the least bit self-conscious.<
