Not on viewThe victorious elected members of Parliament are being paraded on chairs by their constituents. The portly candidate in the foreground, George Bubb Dodington, was actually defeated in the Oxfordshire election. The numerous animal--man parallels in the scene allude to the blind acquiescence of many voters.
