Not on viewEmily Jacir’s practice often centers her homeland of Palestine. In this video, the artist illegally recorded her daily commute in the West Bank between Ramallah and Birzeit University, where she worked. The lengthy walk is documented by a camera hidden in Jacir’s bag, marked by security checkpoints and guards armed with machine guns.
